Roots vegetables

Root vegetables are vegetables grown for their tubers (roots, turnips, etc.). Indispensable in the vegetable garden, these plants are a year-round garnish for soups, salads and hot dishes. They keep well in silos, buried in dry sand or in the ground over winter. Most varieties are resistant to harsh climatic conditions. Root vegetables thus offer the possibility of varying our consumption of local vegetables with the seasons.

Our root vegetable categories: beet, carrot, celeriac, radish, turnip, parsnip, as well as the hardy rutabaga, kohlrabi, burdock, scorzonera, salsify and tuberous chervil.
